Spring & Easter Dress Options

Happy Wednesday Friends!

Hope y’all are having a great week so far! I have a short week this week as I’m taking Friday off to finally shoot our engagement photos and then head on a mini vacay right after that!! Woot woot! Love me a long weekend!

This week I wanted to share with you one of my favorite dresses for spring and summer along with some fun dress options for Easter next weekend! This dress below is from Old Navy and is one of my favorite dresses they have ever sold! I know that’s a heavy statement but this dress is so light weight and comfortable, perfect for spring and summer here in Florida but there is a plus…this dress has a hidden button between the first and second button that guarantees there won’t be any gaping hole between buttons, this is a game changer! If struggled with tops and dresses that button my whole life and this is amazing! I talked a bit about this on my stories as well @lifestyle_w_laramie if you want to check it out! Anyways this dress comes in a few different colors and patterns and just an overall must have in your closet! It’s perfect for the office, brunch, shopping you name it, I’m wearing this dress everywhere!

Old Navy is killing it in the dress department this season so I’m including some of my favorite below! They are great Easter options as well as just spring/summer dress options to have in your closet! I practically live in dresses during the hotter months so I love having so many options!

What do y’all do for the Easter holiday? Do you have a big celebration or is it more of a casual day? Let me know below!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year beauties!

After a hiatus at the end of 2018 I’m back and ready to take on the new year! Without getting to personal 2018 ended with a bang and not in the best way. My fiance ended up in the hospital for about a week so we couldn’t make our holiday travels, our priority because getting him healthy and we were able to bring him home on Christmas Eve, Woot! He’s on the up and up and doing well, shout out to everyone that sent texts and called and gave us support, especially my parents! Then we had some more things happen before we rang in the new year. We are working through all of this and are taking it one day at a time!

Now for happier news, Travis and I have chosen a wedding venue and have started booking vendors for our big day next year!!! I’ll be doing more wedding blog posts for y’all this year about how we found our venue and the reason behind it.

Now for the first look of 2019, this year I’m having more fun with fashion but streamlining it. Classic and casual has been my style for a long time and that hasn’t changed. These pieces are super affordable and comfortable. The dress is surprisingly from Stein Mart and booties from LC Lauren Conrad for Kohl’s, the bag is Coach outlet my go to bag for 2018 and necklace from Dillard’s Black Friday Sale. I’m loving the olive green for winter in FL.

This year is a year of change, and I know that’s what everyone says but after everything we went through in 2018 especially at the end I know I am stronger than ever before. I’m confident in myself and being a curvy blogger, yay body positivity! I’m determined to take control of my health and wellness this year and cut out all negativity in my life and only surround myself with the positive! Anyone else? What are your goals for the new year?

Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July ya'll!

Some of my favorite memories with my family are spending the 4th in Michigan with all our extended family cooking out and watching the fireworks over the lake! I haven't been to Michigan in the summer time for a couple years but if you ever have the chance I highly recommend it! The town has a parade and blueberry festival along with so many other fun activities for the 4th!

Here's my fun take on red, white, and blue for the 4th of July. I've been loving pieces from Loft lately and they have some super fun pieces for summer currently! Both the shorts and navy top are from Loft and were super discounted, I got both pieces for under $35. Loft always has some of the best sales around especially when it comes to mark downs on top of sale prices!

I paired this look with some fun sandals from Old Navy and my Coach purse. I love a great deal and designer bags are no exception! I always try if possible to grab a bag when it is on sale or has made it to the outlet store. This bag was a investment piece but you can't beat the quality and I've worn it almost everyday this year, definitely worth the money!

I hope you all enjoy this look and have an amazing 4th of July! Let me know what your favorite summer looks and activities are! Do you have any fun trips planned? Let me know!

Classic Blue

Happy Friday you guys! This is the start of some Easter/spring dress options for you. This sweet baby blue with white detailed number is of course from Old Navy. I paired it with nude Nine West heels from TJ Maxx and my Coach bag. This is a great look for the holiday, especially is you are going to church, a family gathering, or somewhere you need to dress a little more modest. This dress is super comfortable and easy to dress up or down just by changing out the shoes and the bag. Probably my favorite place to shop for spring and summer dresses is definitely Old Navy, of course super affordable pieces that are well made and fun! *Fun side note for you, Old Navy gave me my first job as a sales associate at 16 and I can tell you that the pieces and quality have only gotten better since then!* I very much appreciate that there is something there for everyone!

What are you all doing for Easter? Do you want to see more holiday related looks or recipes? Let me know below!

Classic Girly Valentine's Look

Happy almost Valentine's Day! I'm sharing my favorite Valentine's Day look below with you all! I love super girly looks for V-Day especially pink and white and of course I had to add heart shaped balloons <3 This is more of a day time look and to dress it up I added some heels and classic accessories. Both the top and skirt I found at Loft for killer prices...Loft online is my go to for a good deal, you can almost always count on an extra percentage off already marked down prices. This top was $19 and skirt was $9! I do tend to invest in quality accessories and key pieces, because of course we all want the most for our money! My heels are from Nordstrom Rack by Halogen, my bag is Coach, and earrings Kate Spade, yes all more expensive but no I didn't pay full price for any of these items. You can ALWAYS find a great deal on designer brands you just have to look! Needless to say you don't need to spend tons to look like a million bucks! I hope you all enjoy this Valentine's inspired look!

Do you have any fun plans for Valentine's Day? What is your ideal V-day look? Let me know!
