Give Me All The Hearts

Happy Wednesday Lovelies!

Sorry for the hiatus in January, but I’m back and so excited to share my first Valentine’s look with y’all! This is probably one of my favorite looks to date! You all know I love a good graphic t-shirt and this conversation heart one from Nordstrom is super soft and comfy! I paired it with other pieces I already had in my closet. The skirt is from Loft, I actually showed you a different way to wear it last Valentine’s Day along with velvet Nine West pumps and a fun pink Michael Kors bag! This look is just so fun and festive without being serious and could be great for spring too! Again everything you see was on sale!

It’s becoming more important to me to purchase key pieces to change a look or that I can already wear with other pieces I have in my closet! This T-shirt I believe was $34 but the rest of the look I already had, but it changed the look enough that I had a whole different outfit! Just like everyone else I love a great deal and changing up my closet!

What is your go to Valentine’s Day look? Do you like more casual or are you more of a full glam kind of girl? Let me know in the comments!!

Our Cruise on The Disney Dream

Sorry this post isn’t going up until Friday this week y’all. We have been super busy between traveling, wedding planning, my photography and getting ready for the holidays life is super overwhelming…in a great way! Anyway, a few weeks ago I embarked on my first cruise EVER! Call me crazy but the movie Titanic stuck with me ok, I tend to over think things, lol!

I was the photographer for Chris and Mer’s wedding that was taking place on The Disney Dream and Travis was in the wedding so therefore we were going on this cruise. Travis and I have never taken a cruise together and me never so we were in for an adventure.

As a first time cruise goer I didn’t have any problem with sea sickness or anything like that (thank goodness) and loved all the beautiful parts of the ship, especially for the wedding photos! So many great spots! The food was amazing everyday and the customer service in general was on point, it is Disney after all.

If you have never been on a cruise and are preparing to go soon I would keep a few things in mind. Do your research, if you are stopping anywhere on your trip see where you’re docking has to offer; excursions, shops, food. Also take everything into account; as in gratuities, extra drinks, souvenirs ex, make sure you know exactly what you are planning on spending when you get on the ship. It will take all the stress off you later if you plan ahead! Above all else have a blast! Order the extra dessert, lounge by the pool and attend all the shows, we had a great time and can’t wait to plan our next trip!

Below are just a few highlights from our trip! We loved the towel animals every night, all the yummy treats, and really enjoyed Castaway Cay!

Do you have any trips planned that are coming up? I would love to hear about where you’re traveling to!

Classic Blue

Happy Friday you guys! This is the start of some Easter/spring dress options for you. This sweet baby blue with white detailed number is of course from Old Navy. I paired it with nude Nine West heels from TJ Maxx and my Coach bag. This is a great look for the holiday, especially is you are going to church, a family gathering, or somewhere you need to dress a little more modest. This dress is super comfortable and easy to dress up or down just by changing out the shoes and the bag. Probably my favorite place to shop for spring and summer dresses is definitely Old Navy, of course super affordable pieces that are well made and fun! *Fun side note for you, Old Navy gave me my first job as a sales associate at 16 and I can tell you that the pieces and quality have only gotten better since then!* I very much appreciate that there is something there for everyone!

What are you all doing for Easter? Do you want to see more holiday related looks or recipes? Let me know below!

Happy Holly Days

Christmas is officially 10 days away! I swear I blink on Halloween and suddenly it's Christmas! Anyone else feel that way? I am done with shopping (except for online) since the stores are manic and am so excited to share this next holiday look with y'all.

This midi dress from Old Navy is perfect for the holidays especially in this red! A plus, it's under $50 and super comfortable and wearable throughout the whole year! I paired it with some velvet blush heels from TJ Maxx to keep with the holiday feel as well as velvet bag from Kohl's. I've been loving the velvet trend lately which I'm sure you all can see in this look and several upcoming looks as well! The velvet adds a luxurious feel to the look and is super festive as well!

Let me know what you all love to wear during this time of year as well as shop this look below!

Huge thanks again to Emma Shourds Photography for taking these stunning photos!

This dress is perfect dressed up for a nice dinner or maybe brunch with your girlfriends! You can also dress it down too, with some cute sandals and different accessories for some shopping on a Sunday afternoon! What are your favorite spring dresses?
