24 Hours - Miami Open Trip

Happy Wednesday friends!

I wanted to share our quick 24 trip to Miami for the Miami Open! If you plan on going next year or in the future here are some must see’s and eats!

As I mentioned we were only there for 24 hours. We drove from Sarasota to Miami in the morning and went right to the Hard Rock for the tennis matches that day, we took a break around 6pm to check into Aloft Aventura and grab some dinner. We of course had to get bartaco, which is conveniently located right downstairs. The hotel is in the perfect area surrounded by great shops and food options!

After dinner we went back to the tennis for the evening session and were there until about midnight. We grabbed a late night snack at the hotel. The next day we grabbed yummy breakfast at puravida and then we were on the road back home. If you can stay 3 days to try all the great restaurants around the hotel and enjoy the area!

A Sea of Blue

Happy Thursday y’all!

This is a throwback Thursday to my favorite look I work on our recent cruise! I mean I love the blue on blue aspect of this whole thing. When planning my looks for the cruise this was a definite, you know blue seas, blue outfit, you get it! Anyway this dress is from Forever 21 and I got it for a steal for under $20, and finished the look with these fun blue tinted aviators and my favorite summer wedges from Macy’s.

We shot this look at the top of the ship in some of my favorite areas. I just love all the blue tons and the I just love how the whole look cam together.

On a side note I have some great gift guides coming along with fun holiday looks and maybe even some recipes too! I can’t wait to share with you all!

Summer Night Out

Summer is probably my favorite season next to spring not only for the beach days and fun trips but the fashion! I love the bright colors and fun accessories. Summer is a time to be playful and just have fun and what better way to do that than with your wardrobe? Am I right?! Some of my best memories and fashion moments have definitely been in the summer time which is why I'm so excited to share this look with ya'll!

Date night usually consist of myself wearing skinny jeans and a cute (usually black or white) top and wedges. So I've decided to switch it up a bit, with the FL sunshine as hot as ever you don't need an excuse to wear a sundress. This is one of my go to's for summer, yes I know it has long sleeves but this dress is the lightest most breathable cotton and the sleeves eliminate having to bring a sweater to happy hour or the movies. I added the fun pineapple clutch for that fun summer touch and some nude wedges that are the most comfortable things ever, and with a fiance who's over 6 ft. tall I tend to sway towards wedges when I can (short girl here).

You can find the dress and clutch at Old Navy and the wedges at Nordstrom Rack, but currently tons of places have cute sun dresses and wedges, including Target, Loft, and TJ Maxx! I've linked these pieces below for you to shop the look!

Let me know what you think of this look and what you like to wear on a date night in the summer time!!

T-Shirt Shop Series: Tropical Vibes

Happy Memorial Day Everyone! I hope ya'll have had a great weekend! We had such a great weekend hitting Hollywood Studios and Epcot for some fun since we recently became passholders, we are really trying to make the most of it! Also binge re-watched all of Season 2 of Riverdale because literally can not get enough of Bughead, anyone else? I just love the show and all the characters so much! Needless to say we had a fun weekend!

Here's my favorite look of the summer T-shirt Shop Series! Perfect for the weekend and summer time here in Florida! I'm obsessed with the floral print shorts and graphic T and how perfect is the pool and palm trees? I live where you vacation and I am so grateful I live in the sunshine state! The look again is all Old Navy and super affordable and I love that all the pieces can easily be paired with other things!

Hope you all have a great short work week! Let me know what you think about this look and if you want to see something specific on the blog!

Poppin' Pink

Happy February Everyone! With Valentine's Day only weeks away I'm pulling together a few Valentine's looks for y'all! What better way to be festive than with a pop of pink! This is one of my favorite looks for Valentine's Day, it's perfect for the office or date night...or both! I'm loving the classic black flare skirt with the pop of pink and black t-strap heels! It's perfect for all my girls out there that don't want to be in your face Valentine's but still festive!

If this is still to bold for you try just incorporate some accessories that are for the holiday! Maybe a heart necklace or pink or red bag, something along those lines would be perfect with a solid black dress or jeans and a top!

What is your go to Valentine's look? Do you love the super girly look or like something less pink? Let me know below!

Summer Round Up

I finally got together my favorite summer looks for you all! We are currently preparing/going through hurricane Irma as this post probably won't go up until mid week. Hurricane season is normal for me as I've lived in Florida my whole life, but this girl (Irma) is no joke, she's a massive storm! Never-mind that though let's get back to talking about this summer round up! This summer has been so amazing, between the amazing trips we've taken and places we've gone I couldn't have asked for a better summer! We ventured to St. Pete, Daytona Beach, and Miami just to name a few with our favorite people! I couldn't be more grateful for the wonderful friends we have in Chris and Mer, they have been true blessings to Travis and myself! So this summer has a special place in my heart and my closet as I love so my looks I sported this season! As for things coming up, there are some fun collaborations on the horizon that I'm super excited about! I'm excited for fall (or what little fall we have here) and a little sad to leave summer behind. With that, below are my favorite looks from this summer! Let me know what your favorite was in the comments below!

Daytona Beach Vacation

Happy June everyone! My Fiance and I started June off right this weekend with our favorites by escaping to Daytona Beach, FL and staying at the Hyatt Place Daytona Beach-Oceanfront! This trip was actually a gift to my Fiance for his birthday and we had literally one of the best weekends we have had in a minute! Again like our St. Pete trip I'll take you on a play by play of our trip! Hope you all enjoy and please let me know if you enjoy these travel blogs!

We got to Daytona Beach around 5:30 pm on Friday and immediately grabbed some food to take back to the hotel. We grabbed some pizza at this sweet little Italian restaurant called, Rossellini's. This place is located super close to the beach and had some super delicious pizza at an amazing price! I highly recommend if you are in the mood for some authentic Italian food and pizza while out in Daytona hit up this yummy restaurant. After dinner and hanging out a bit in the hotel we walked down to the pool area and hung out. My favorite part about this hotel is you walk out to the pool and then just walk right onto the beach, so convenient and easy!
