Life Update: Moving, Future Planning, and Goal Setting

Happy Wednesday friends!

This week I wanted to share a life update and talk about a few things here that I’m super excited about!

First off Travis and I are getting ready to move…again! Yes you might recall we made a move last November and not even a year later we are moving again, this time only about 20 minutes away so not a big deal. We received an amazing opportunity we couldn’t pass up and are super excited for a bigger space and new place (hopefully the last new place before a house). I’ll be sharing more décor posts and home things on the blog as this place we will be replacing a lot of furniture and different things that would come with us to a house.

This move is going to allow us to hopefully start preparing for buying a house soon so we are doing everything we can to really prepare and set ourselves up for success when we finally decide to purchase a home. The market is super crazy right now so we are holding off for now.

Finally I’m working on some major goal setting and working on those goals before my 30th birthday at the end of the year. Some of those goals include working on my health, bettering my business, and really preparing to start my 30’s off right.

Hope y’all have an amazing rest of your week and I’ll see you soon!

Thanksgiving Style & Complimentary Webinar

Happy Wednesday Friends!

Last week I shared the same dress in a beautiful solid cranberry color but this week I wanted to share this dress from Maggy London in this floral print that I think is perfect for fall and Thanksgiving! If you dress up for Thanksgiving this would be great and it’s fun with the tie neck detail and pockets!

Pair this with wedges or flats and you’re set for holiday dinner! I personally love to pair this with a block heel and velvet bag to bring those rich tones and textures to the look.

As we get closer and closer to the holiday season it becomes more and more important to management and plan content to be more effective and show up for your audience. As a lot of you also have a blog or work with social media for a business I wanted to make sure you know that tomorrow I’m hosting a complimentary webinar on how to become a master of content management and planning! If you want to grab your seat click HERE now!

Random Rambles

Not much to share on the wedding front this week, i’m working on bridal shower thank you’s as well as preparing our formal invitations to be mailed out! Otherwise that’s about it right now!

This week I’m more just sharing some random rambles here on the blog…If you saw my Instagram post yesterday I was talking a lot about manifesting and creating your own success. I promised I would share more and I will but just a small bit I have been really working behind the scenes on truly creating the life I want to live! I have been manifesting, praying, and working towards some big goals and when things start to happen and take shape there is nothing better! Over the last few weeks I’ve seen some of that hard work pay off and gosh is it satisfying! There is still a lot of work to do and I believe everything will happen we it is supposed to, but it feels good knowing that hard work and trust in the process is paying off!

Also working on more budget and financial things lately, the price you pay to get married and really adult. I’ve always loved numbers and seeing what is possibly financially. We are considering the Dave Ramsey program to set us up for future endeavors and start this marriage off right. Have you used this program? Did it work for you?

Lastly moving. When the time is right we will be making a move, not far but closer to the water and my family. If you have followed me for a while you know that my heart is not here in Orlando. I moved here 7 years ago to finish school at UCF and to see where my relationship would go with Travis. 7 years later we are engaged about to be married, I graduated from one of the top schools in the county and am ready to move. Orlando is super busy and congested for a girl that grew up in a beach town, and hi where is the water?!?! You have to drive over an hour to get to the beach and soul can’t take it anymore. So dramatic I know but the truth. Orlando was never meant to be a permanent part of my story and it has severed a great purpose in my life, we have amazing friends here, great colleges, fun places to go but it’s not home, if that makes sense. I’ll share more with this journey as well as we go as right now we aren’t moving super soon.

Have a great rest of your week!

xoxo

Wedding Update-86 Days Away

Happy Wedding Wednesday!

This week I wanted to share a wedding update with you and share the most recent things we’ve done and what we have lined up as we are in the home stretch, less than 3 months away, where did time go?!

2 weeks ago we went home to the venue for our tasting and to get a preview of our tables for the reception! It was better than I could’ve imagined the table was perfection! Out theme is very romantic and classic with blush, rose, and ivory tones with touched of rose gold and it was beautiful!

But let’s be honest one of the most important parts of a wedding is the food! What do you remember most about weddings you attend? The dress, the drinks, and the food hands down! So the food and drinks are super important to us, huge foodies here and I especially want people to remember that we had awesome food at our wedding! The tasting did not disappoint we tried several things that would be severed that day as we are doing stations and have tons of options so we tried something from each station basically, all AMAZING! Truly so good I can’t wait for everyone to eat up that day and enjoy themselves!

As for things we have coming up….I have my first dress fitting at the end of the month along with booking out hotel and making ceremony and music decisions are at the top of my list! We have our rings, attire, vendors, almost everything. We are just down to the small stuff now it’s all happening so fast!

I’ll keep you posted as we continue the process! Have a great rest of your week!

xoxo

Fall Season with London Times

I’ve teamed up with London Times to share a few pieces from their October collection and let me just tell you I’m obsessed! First off is a jumpsuit and y’all know I LOVE a good jumpsuit! You’ve been seeing quite a few of them here on the blog recently and they are here to stay! Just like a dress I love that a jumpsuit is a complete outfit, one piece and done! The Lu Jumpsuit in Navy is the most perfect outfit for fall and even going into the holidays! It’s super well made, double lined and has this beautiful metallic threading throughout to give it a little shine. Seriously so beautiful, I especially love the cut and style with pockets, belted waist, and perfect neckline! This is a timeless piece that you will wear over and over again! I paired it will a cranberry velvet bag and a light gold kitten heel as this is definitely something I could wear from office out to happy hour or shopping! A must have, check it out below!

Second look I want to share with y’all is the Anika Dress in Eggplant. This dress is perfect for all year long, the color is one of my favorites and one I especially love for Fall and Winter Season. I love the details on the cuffs of the sleeves as well as the different sheer fabric used for the sleeves along with the gathering to define a shape! I think the cut is so flattering for any body type as it is fitted and then floats away from the body helping emphasis an hourglass figure, what woman doesn’t love that! I dressed up this look with a metallic clutch and white heels with silver accents to go with the silver embellishment on the sleeves! Such a great dress, again another timeless piece that you will wear over and over again! Check it out!

Make sure to check out these pieces along with the other fabulous pieces from the London Times October Collection over on the London Times site HERE these are timeless pieces that are worth the investment! Let me know what your favorite look is below!

Summer Lovin'

Happy Wednesday Friends!

Hope y’all have had a great week so far! As always we have so much going on right now! I feel like Summer is one of my busiest times when it comes to travel and work! My 9-5 is in season right now with everything so I’m slammed with tons of work and my personal life is super busy right now with summer travels and wedding planning. They kind of leads me into talking about this look!

With being super busy I need pieces in my closet that are easy, one piece that can be a complete outfit. Y’all see a lot of dresses on here from me and that’s mostly because I love that a dress is easy to grab and put on, there’s no oh this doesn’t match with this, exc. I also feel like dresses are so easy to dress up or down with shoes and accessories and that makes them so versatile!

I’m a short girl but I’ve been loving the midi-length dresses, especially Old Navy! I’m also loving this purple pink color for summer! I paired it with a fun clear bag from Amazon and sandals from Old Navy too!

Hope y’all have a great rest of your week!

Must Have: Little White Dress

Just like every girl needs a little black dress she needs a little white dress as well! I found the cutest little white dress at Old Navy with this eyelet detail and buttons is so perfect for any occasion!

I paired this cute little number with a few different current trends! I’m loving the clear bag trend and this bag was only $19 on Amazon! They have tons of cute ones and I’m loving them! Next the pearl hair clip, this is another huge thing right now and I got a pack of 12 different hair clips and pins for $12 on Amazon again, like wow what I steal! Lastly I’ve been loving these block heels from Old Navy they go with everything and are so comfortable and I’ve bought them in a bunch of different colors!

This dress would also be great for a rehearsal dinner or bridal shower! It just has great details and is so delicate making it something a little special!
